Lenovo Introduces a New Centrino 2-based IdeaPad

Lenovo will release new IdeaPad notebooks, the 14.1″ Y430, 15.4″ Y530, 17.1″ Y730, and 13.3″ U330. The U330 is the most interesting as it features the newly released Centrino 2 processor. We don’t have much information about it, but it’s also equipped with HDMI Interface, a built-in optical erive, an integrated webcam, and touch sensitive media controls. They all have a thickness of 2.2cm.

These new notebooks should be available in Fall, 2008.

Lenovo ThinkPad X200

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X200 12 inch ultraportable notebook has been unveiled today. Weighing at 2.9 pounds, the laptop will be powered by Intel’s Centrino 2 platform that consumes for only 25 watts while operating. Other features include a huge 200GB hard drive, three USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot and a 1.3MP webcam. cam.

Lenovo IdeaPad U110 notebook PC launched

Lenovo announced the availability of the IdeaPad U110 consumer notebook PC, the star of Lenovo’s IdeaPad entertainment and fashion-oriented notebook collection and winner of three Best-of-Show awards at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show. Enhanced by a frameless screen and weighing less than 2.5 pounds, the 11-inch wide notebook’s infinite-like viewing experience and thin and light frame cater to the highly mobile user, proving style and technology can go hand-in-hand. Equipped with VeriFace Face Recognition, users can quickly and easily log-in without having to remember passwords. Dolby Home Theatre and the MultiMedia Control Center provide excellent sound quality while putting multimedia options at the user’s fingertips.
