DosPara has recently introduced the new Linux powered netbook in the form of the Prime Note Cartina. Weighing at only 1.1kg, this netbook features an 8.9 inch (WSVGA) LCD with an Atom N270 CPU, 120GB of HDD, 1GB RAM, and WiFi B/G. Good news that the company also provides the driver for Windows XP OS. Only 30 units of these Prime Note Cartina UM that wil be available in the Japanese market.

The N50V is a stylish 15.4-inch notebook computer for students as well as home users who are looking for a powerful multimedia laptop and doesn’t mind paying high bucks for it. The latest addition in ASUS’ N-Series is very similar to N20A in designing. But specs-wise both are quite different. Toshiba Japan has decided to release their first netbook for the Japanese market. The NB100 feature an 8.9-inch LCD screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, WiFi, and will be available in either Ubuntu or Windows XP OS. Available in Cosmic Black, Champagne Gold, and Bright Silver, the price starts at $757, which is more expensive than the price in Europe for approx. €472.

LG revealed the XNOTE P310 Series. This 13.1-inch laptop is powered by a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 processor, 3GB DDR3 memory, 2GB of Turbo Memory, 320GB HDD and a high-performace nVidia GeForce 9600M GT graphics processor. Wrapped in a nice aluminum finish, the LCD is LED backlit for maximum brightness and to reduce eye-squinting. Unfortunately, the announcement didn’t come with price information, but they did come with those pretty, smiling Korean girls.

Toshiba today became the first company to unveil a WiMAX-ready notebook computer. The latest addition in its flagship Satellite series is a 13.3″ ultra portable machine for business professionals. Of course, the main attraction of this notebook is its support for next generation wireless internet connectivity. The Satellite U405-ST550W laptop PC will be WiMAX enabled to offer users a rich, immersive mobile Internet experience over entire metropolitan areas .

HP has announced the availability of its Pavilion dv3500t 13.3 inch notebook in the US. Weighing at 4.12 pound, the desktop replacement features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS 512MB video card with a maximum of 8GB RAM, 400GB hard drive, DVD burner. Its 13.3 inch LCD screen offers 1,280 x 800 display resolution with an optional LED backlight. Other cool specs include fingerprint reader, 802.11n wireless connectivity, ExpressCard slot and 5-in-1 memory card reader. The HP Pavilion dv3500t retails from $999.99 upwards, depending on the specs

The laptop comes equipped with a 12.1 inch LED backlighted LCD screen with WXGA resolution (1280×800), a 1.20GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 CPU, supports up to 3GB2GB of RAM, 128GB of SSD or 160GB of SATA HDD, and DVD Super Multi Drive, Wi-Fi b/g/n, three USB ports, e-Sata port, and SD card slot.
